I've missed my soaping. First one thing then another happened, or I was out of something or was out of time; but finally, the soaping bug has bitten, and I'm going to be listing a lot of soapy goodness in the next few weeks.
Soaps now ready for me to put up on Artfire (or Etsy or Zibbett) are all vegan, unscented, bars with no color: Nekkid, Nekkid Oatmeal, and Salt Bars. Next month my vegan Castile Blend will be ready, and the month following, I have more Nekkid, plus SilkN'Shea flavors of Lavender, Lemongrass, Patchouli, and Cappuccino.
SilkN'Shea has a touch of Shea Butter (butyrospermum parkii) for richness as well as real raw Tussah silk (silk Amino acid) to add more creamy smoothness to the lather.
Please note that the addition of ingredients such as any kind of lard, tallow, emu oil, goat milk, silk or even honey will mean the soap does not classify as vegan, although the ingredients undergo a chemical change from their original state.
It has been sheer pleasure to use my newest soap mold. It is a 20 lb mold and I can barely handle it, so I just park it where I'll pour the soap and leave it be... at least until Flagstop figures out a way to put rope handles on the sides that don't stick inside the walls of the mold!
WhystleStop's leaving the station until next time. Hope to post more flavors coming soon!
